Grassy Lake Bird Blind in Jay B. Starkey Park.

Project of the Pasco Audubon Chapter of National Audubon

Jay B. Starkey Bird Blind

How to get to the blind:
From the Corral parking lot follow the trail covered in wood chips about 100 yards
Where the wood chips end, there is a shell path on your right that leads to the blind.

Construction on the Blind was completed by end of March 2020
A eBird location was quickly assigned and by mid July 2020 there had been over 70 ebird reports with 65 species identified.

The View

The area immediately behind the blind along the approach path has been a very good birding location also.
The reports have exceeded expections and show the ecological importance of the lake and surrounding area.
